VALLE DE GUADALUPE FIELD GUIDE

Emma Williams has curated our Field Guide for March 2024 featuring Valle de Guadalupe, MX.

Whether you're staying for the weekend or heading down for the day trip, this destination is worth the trip South.

STAY

If you’re looking for a chic bed & breakfast surrounded by nature, head to Bruma de Valle Guadalupe. Blending the best of traditional and contemporary Mexican design, Bruma is home to 8 unique suites (CASA 8) and features an outdoor deck, swimming pool, and sprawling property.

Another favorite of ours is Encuentro Guadalupe, a modern hotel with minimalistic décor and vast surroundings. Rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the valley for incredible views and the perfect blend of luxury and nature.

EAT

One of the hardest reservations in Valle de Guadalupe is at Fauna — now ranked among Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants. Their communal table seating environment and rustic menu make for an incredible meal every time.

La Justina is the perfect lunch spot, with a beautiful outdoor dining area overlooking the vineyard. La Justina always brings the fun, with DJs playing everyday and carajillos at the ready.

OJÁ is a special restaurant in Valle, with a minimalistic design, one-of-a-kind cocktails, and zebras roaming the property.

SIP

One of the best ways to end your day is overlooking the sunset on the water from Bar Bura at Cuatro Cuatros. The views are unmatched and vibes are hard to beat.

Another favorite stop for drinks is Casa Frida. Whether you’re going for margaritas on the patio in the sunshine or stopping by at night for dancing, Casa Frida never disappoints.
